Toronto, Canada. Just a few short months after her Canadian Music Week showcase performance, Canadian born and Nashville based STEVIE JEWEL is set to blaze trails, at the up and coming COUNTRY AT THE ROCKPILE show, Thursday, July 30th, The Rockpile, 5555 Dundas St W, Toronto.
With residency in both Canada and the US, and crisscrossing borders to perform in international showcases and festivals, Jewel already boasts a Grammy nomination and Top 24 Billboard charting song that catapulted her career to current status. The Rockpile audiences can expect a high energy stage performance including that of her newest single, MEMORY LANE launching to country radio nationwide, August 17th through Linda Dawe of Music Solutions.
An Honor’s student and yearly Dean’s List recipient in the songwriting program at Nashville’s Belmont University (Florida Georgia Line) Jewel is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Academy for the Performing Arts, attended the Atlanta Music Academy and has worked with Sherisse Stevens of the Royal Conservatory of Canada.
With deft guitar playing and vocals that stun, Jewel has collaborated with some of the best in the music business including Josh Harris (Cher, Seal, Pink), David Langguth (Nelly Furtado, Timbaland), Marc Ganetakos (Nelly Furtado, Ashley MacIsaac), Stan Miczek (The Guess Who, Sass Jordan) and is currently writing with Nashville’s incomparable Tom Douglas (Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw). Her recent performances include Canadian Music Week (Toronto), The Listening Room, The Commodore Grill, Maxwell Millennium House, Belcourt Taps, (Nashville), Eddie’s Attic (Atlanta) and Turtle Music Festival (Northern ON) to list a few.
Managed by Cheryl Wilson, Owner of Nashville based Crown 26, Jewel is also scheduled to perform two showcases in September, at the CCMAs in Halifax, followed by an extensive Ontario radio tour in October.
A consummate professional appreciative of her fans, Jewel communicates with over 17,000 Twitter followers and constantly creates new content for her YouTube audience who collectively span over 800,000 views.
